I've always loved tools and working with my hands. Slowly but surely, I've developed my skill set to build the kind of things that I want to see in the world: handcrafted and lasting, with a character that allows the materials to speak for themselves.
I really appreciate working with both wood and metal, and the contrast created by a piece that incorporates both materials. Cold, angular steel juxtaposed with the organic lines of live edge wood slabs. Solely metal projects are rad, too, as I consider myself a fabricator first and foremost.
I trained as an iron worker at Thielsch Engineering, and I work full time as a climber for a very arbor-centric tree company out of Warwick, RI. The removal work that we do is milled and creates beautiful material for furniture, honoring trees with a more noble purpose after they have been taken down.
I hope you enjoy what I have to share, and if you are interested in having something made, please give me the privilege of working with you towards it.
